The online PADI Digital Underwater Photography course includes all of the information from the classroom requirements of the course. There are three sections. The first two sections focus primarily on underwater still photography. You’ll learn the basics of photo composition and the special challenges of photographing under the water. The third section covers how to take high quality underwater video with digital cameras. The course is designed so that anyone, diver or not, who wants to learn to use a digital camera underwater will be able to do so. Even if you just snorkel, this course will prepare you to take high quality underwater images. If you have experience using photographic equipment underwater, this course will improve the quality of the photos that you take. The information is presented in an online, interactive format that includes audio, video, graphics and reading sections. You will be able to move through the material at your own pace, and there are periodic quizzes so you can assess your learning.
In the classroom portion of this course you’ll learn why air with a higher oxygen content and lower nitrogen percentage will give you longer bottom time. You’ll learn how to set your dive computer for enriched air and you’ll discuss the particulars of diving with nitrox. The eLearning Rescue diver course is broken down into 5 sections. The material covered includes the psychology of rescue, recognizing diver stress, accident management, assisting both responsive and unresponsive divers at the surface and underwater, equipment problems, oxygen deliver systems, missing diver procedures, responding to dive emergencies and inwater rescue breather. There are short quizzes throughout the program to help you assess your understanding of the material. This is the online learning class for the first professional PADI certification. This covers nine topics that prepare you for the practical application portion of the Divemaster course.
