Using a DPV is a thrilling way to cover large amounts of territory in a short amount of time. Theses underwater vehicles will help you get the most out of your limited dive time. They allow you to glide over coral reefs and zoom around large wrecks. DPVs are just about the most fun you can have at a dive site!
In addition to two dives using a DPV, you’ll learn about proper maintenance and handling skills for your vehicle. You’ll also learn how to plan dives, and the special considerations you need to think about when using a DPV, such as making sure you stay with your dive buddy. You’ll learn to properly descend and ascend with the DPV, and you’ll learn about the potential problems you might encounter.
The first dive of this course can count towards your PADI Adventure Diver or Advanced Open Water Diver certification.
